Welcome to Stay Awhile Chalet! Enjoy a stylish & cozy experience at this centrally-located cabin in Fox Farm. Wake up to a complimentary cup of coffee or tea, & enjoy the amazing view from our back deck. Take a quick drive to Bear Mountain & ski for the day, or plan a trip to the nearby zoo. Staying in? Play board games with friends or family as the fire crackles, and throw a record on to set the mood. Finish off the night with a barbecued meal, glass of wine and a relaxing soak in the hot tub.

The main level/ upstairs area consists of an open-concept living room, dining room, kitchen and full bathroom. Off of the main living area is a massive front deck and a spacious back deck with a bbq & sitting area. The lower level boasts two spacious rooms and a full jack & jill bathroom shared by both bedrooms. The primary bedroom has king bed, fireplace, sitting area and racks for luggage. The second bedroom has two bunk beds, providing 4 twin beds, a dresser and a walk-in closet with extra blankets. Off of the bottom level is another large deck, and the hot tub is located here.

Please refer to the Welcome Book in the cabin for public transportation options. Hours of operation for public transportation are limited, so you can try a ride share service if needed. Keep in mind that ride share services are also pretty limited in the Big Bear area, so if neither of these options work, please plan to drive to most locations, and always have a designated driver!

Fox Farm is a quaint and peaceful neighborhood that is located just outside of Moonridge. It is close to Snow Summit, Bear Mountain, the lake, the zoo, grocery stores, restaurants and more. Our property in particular faces the base of Castle Glen Estates, and because of this, we have a gorgeous view of boulders and a seasonal creek that runs through the property.

There are two cameras at the front exterior of the home for security purposes only, as the property can be vacant at times. One camera faces the street, and the other faces the deck/ front door area. There are absolutely no cameras inside, in any bedrooms or any private areas whatsoever, and neither exterior camera can see inside. The two exterior cameras do record audio and video 24/7, however, they will not be monitored once you have checked in and for the duration of your stay.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $50.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $50.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
