THE SETUP:
We merged cozy cabin living with industrial and modern touches to make you feel right at home! We have 2 full living rooms, both with an open feel. Upstairs you can cook your meals while someone is curled up by the fire and enjoying the mountain views. You can hit the slopes which are an 8 MINUTE walk away, and hop in the jacuzzi after to relax. We have made sure you will feel right at home in our cabin, with endless board games and great reads on mountain life. Big Bear is such a special little mountain town, and Slope House is the perfect place to call home while you explore it's magic. This is our family cabin and we absolutely love this space, so please let us know if you need anything at all and we can usually get you accommodated.

LIVING-ROOM:
Here at the Slope House, we have two separate living areas! Great for both entertaining while you cook dinner in our open concept kitchen upstairs, or for relaxing downstairs with direct access to the backyard. The living area upstairs features a dining table for 7, light and bright kitchen and a custom built fireplace that is perfect for those cold mountain nights. The couch seats 7 and we have a reclining chair perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. We are stocked with board games if you want to compete against your family/friends on a night in. The entire cabin has central heating to keep it nice and toasty during the winter, as well as fans and windows throughout to let the crisp mountain air in on those summer nights!

KITCHEN + DINING:
Our fully remodeled kitchen with new appliances and everything you need to cook with is ready for you to keep you and your loved ones full after a long day of exploring! The open concept is great to keep an eye on the kids and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware, glassware, and utensils you could ever think of! We have a brand new dishwasher to knock out those dishes, a smart fridge with filtered water, and a new gas range and microwave. The live edge dining table inside seats 7 and is located right next to the kitchen for ease of serving. We know you will make yourselves right at home in this kitchen!

BEDROOM 1:
The first bedroom on your right downstairs features a closet, bedside table, and a direct view out to the backyard and golf course. It has a comfy king bed and room for the pack and play (provided) if you brought a little one with you!

BEDROOM 2:
This bedroom is straight down the hall from the downstairs living room. This bedroom along with bedroom 1 share the downstairs bathroom. It has a queen bed, comfy duvet, and a large TV. This bedroom also features an open concept closet, luggage rack, a night stand and looks out onto the tree filled front yard.

BEDROOM 3:
The last of the bedroom is located upstairs, just off of the living room. It has a queen bed, open concept closet, and a view out to the front yard. Wake up in the morning and roll out of bed to watch the skiers and snowboarders walk up to the chair lift. That's right - we are closer than the lower lot! Doesn't get much better than that.

LIVING ROOM SLEEPING AREA:
The West Elm living room couch pulls out into a queen bed! We have slept on it and it is actually truly comfortable. Bedding/pillows for the pull out are in the laundry room.

BATHROOMS:
Both bathrooms feature a bath tub (perfect for the kiddos), vanity, a large mirror, and a luxury toilet. The shower also features a matte black shower head that increases water pressure. We brought in luxury bath sheets, because scratchy cheap ones just don't cut it after a long day hitting the slopes! Lastly, we've provided shampoo/conditioner/body wash just in case you don't want to bring up your own.

THE SPOT:
The Slope House is in the beautiful neighborhood of Moonridge. With the golf course in our backyard and the zoo a short 5 minute walk away, there is a lot you can do just steps from your front door! Being centrally located in Big Bear, we are a very short drive to the Lake, Convention Center, and The Village. One of the two Big Bear trash collection sites is also very close by, which is extremely convenient as Big Bear Lake does not allow trash to be left on the property and from some cabins, the trash sites are 10+ minutes away. There's not much in Big Bear that you can't get to within a few mintues!

SECURITY DEPOSIT:
We trust you and choose not to charge a security deposit. Please just message Zoe or Josh if anything happens or something breaks--it happens! Just talk to us and we will figure it out together.

JACUZZI:
Guests are welcome to use our outdoor jacuzzi. The towels are in the utility room. The Jacuzzi is open from 7AM-10PM and is the perfect place to unwind after a long day adventruring!

NO PARTIES:
Our cabin is intended for guests looking for a little R&R. Parties of any kind are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. You will be charged $500 per person, per day/night for each unregistered guest.

PETS:
We are thrilled to be able to welcome your furry friends to the cabin. Please do not leave pups home by themselves as Big Bear has an extremely strict no barking policy. We have one dog bed in the downstairs but other than that we do not have any dog supplies, so bring anything your pups may need through your stay. Please also be aware that the yard is fully fenced but it is easy for dogs to slip under, so you'll need to take them out on a leash to do his or her business. Big Bear is very dog friendly and your pup will love being with you on the mountain!

SECURITY CAMERAS/NOISE AWARE:
For security purposes, we have 2 outdoor security cameras (one at the front door and one in the back). We also have indoor and outdoor "NoiseAware" technology that pings us if our guests are being so loud that they could be disrupting neighbors. Please know that we deeply value your privacy and these technologies are ONLY used if we suspect that house rules are being broken.

LAUNDRY:
There is a stackable washer and dryer in the utility room just to the right of the front door. These are energy efficient and can hold a large amount - laundry pods are provided as well for your use!

CLEANING SERVICE:
Our cabin is cleaned after each stay by our wonderful cleaner who knows our home inside and out and makes sure the home is set up for your stay.

NEIGHBORHOOD LIFE:
Due to our central location and the fact that we're located in a residential neighborhood, it's important to be aware that you will experience all that comes with typical "neighborhood life" (neighbors nearby, the occasional car going by, people walking up to the mountain, etc.). We recommend using a car to get around Big Bear and over to town. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need any recommendations.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $50.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $50.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
