Beautiful lakeside lodge just across the street from the lake in a quiet neighborhood with nearby public lake access and minutes to the Village by car. Less than a mile to the marinas and 3-4 miles to the skis slopes. Multiple living spaces for kids and adults. Game room/tables for kids. Pool table/poker table for adults. Big deck for BBQ and outdoor entertaining. The house maximum occupancy is 14 people (adults/children/infant) and maximum parking is 4 cars per City's guidelines.

Lots of custom touches and designs by owner. The canoe chandelier and the driftwood chandeliers in the main living areas were designed and made by me.
I designed the lower living room to give it a cabin look and feel. I designed the upper main living room to give it a lake house feel.
The house does have two steps leading to the front door. Thru the front door you will find the lower living room and the first floor master bedroom with en suite bathroom. This room is perfect for people with limited mobility or those with young infant who needs a quiet space away from the rest of the house.
The first floor also have a second full bathroom and a log bar, game table for adults with nice comfortable sectional sofa and UHD TV.
On the upper level you will find a large living area with a large sectional sofa, actually it's two separate sofas put together, with enough seating room for everyone in your group. There is a 65in UHD TV on a swing mount so you can watch it from multiple angles. There is a newly re-felted pool table and a shuffleboard table. It also has a corner library/reading area with a comfortable loveseat.
The kitchen and a spacious dining room with a large table with seating for 12-14 adults is adjacent to the living room. The kitchen island also have seating for 4 more adult with nice full size bar stools.
Leading from the main living room are the left and right master bedrooms with two full bathrooms. Each of these bedrooms also have it's own private decks.
The French door from the dining room will lead to a large rear deck with two picnic tables with umbrellas and more cedar wood chairs for more seating rooms. It also has a 4 burner BBQ grill for outdoor cooking.
Going down the stairs thru the attached garage you will find the the 4th bedroom and kids game room. This room has 1 queen, 1 futon, a bunk bed and another twin mattress that can slide out from under the bunk bed. The game room has a basketball game, foosball table, air hockey table, and a Wii Nintendo and Xbox system with 30+ games for kids.
***Note about 4th bedroom/ game room access: You can access this room by walking thru the attached garage or thru the rear deck and down the stairs.

Guests have access to the entire house with a few exceptions.
There are a few locked cabinets inside the house for the cleaning crew 's supplies and owner stuffs.
There is a locked storage room in the garage for owner's tools.
Guests can park up to 4 normal size cars inside the garage. Garage door has height clearance of 74 inches. Any midsize SUV, truck, minivan will fit. Larger/taller SUV and trucks can park on the driveway (2 spaces) Please be aware of this as you cannot park on the street at anytime! However there are 2 free overnight public parking just about 2 miles from the house for those who have more than 2 large size vehicles.

The City of Big Bear Lake has a required 8% TOT ( Transient Occupancy Tax) tax and 3% BBLTBID (Big Bear Lake Tourism Business Improvement District) tax for total of 11%. These taxes will be collected by AirBnB and remit to the appropriate taxing authorities.

During winter season, I will do my best to have snow removal from the driveway before check-in time, but guests may need to shovel their parking spot if they arrive late after it's been snowing or if it snows during their stay. Please refer to my welcome email for snow removal services. Please note, street parking is strictly prohibited at anytime. Your car might be cited and towed or worse, buried in 6 ft of snow after the snow plow came thru.

All guests booking a stay in winter, between December and March, should anticipate the possibility of tire chains being necessary to travel to Big Bear, and should check the weather forecast and road conditions before heading up. CHP will have a check point before Running Springs and you cannot pass w/o correct size chains. Be prepared!
The house is located across the street to the lake. Nearest cross streets are Lake Dr and Afton Rd. Public lake access point is about 1/4 mile down the street, a short 5 minutes walk.

2 car garage is a double deep tandem garage which can fit up to 4 small/medium size vehicles with height clearance of 74 inches or less. The driveway can accommodate 2 larger size vehicles. NO STREET PARKING at anytime.

Pets are NOT allowed at this property. Violation of my no-pet policy is grounds for immediate eviction with no refund due for unused portions of stay - violation may also result in a minimum $250.00 fine, plus charges for additional cleaning and any required repairs.

City of Big Bear Lake Good Neighbor Policy.
The following policy is required by the City of Big Bear Lake, and has been copied verbatim from city documents. Main guest will need to sign and date this document before check in.

Do not exceed the occupancy limit.
Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy. NO PARTIES ALLOWED.

No parking in street or yard.
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is 4.

No amplified music 24/7.
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.

Take trash to dumpster locations.
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations:
41970 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd (old fire station across from cityhall)

Fines.
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.

Eviction.
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned.
